I’m an experienced panellist and speaker, having chaired and appeared in panels in both the UK and abroad.
In February 2018, I chaired a journalism panel at the University of Oxford. I’ve also been selected as the Keynote speaker at the University of Salford’s Journalism Awards in May 2017 as well as a Guest Speaker at the Asian Media Awards in March 2017. I’ve also appeared on a panel alongside Italian and British journalists at the International Journalism Festival in Perugia, Italy in April 2017.
As a contributing author of the Amazon #1 best-selling ‘It’s Not About the Burqa: Muslim Women on Faith, Feminism, Sexuality and Race’, I will be appearing at the Kenilworth Arts Festival in September 2019 to discuss faith, feminism and more.
I’ve also appeared in podcasts including The Financial Times’ ‘Everything Else’ podcast (March 2018). I’ve also appeared in ‘Stronger Minds’, created by Chartered Psychologist Kimberley Wilson (June 2018), where we discussed food, faith, race and more.
I’m available for paid speaking opportunities. Please email: firstname.lastname@example.org or the ‘Contact Me’ section.
